Our “Surprise Date with a Book” Event Was a Success!

The “Surprise Date with a Book” event, organized by the IELEV High School Library, was held on February 13, 2026, with the participation of our students, teachers, and all school staff. The event was designed to encourage participants to discover different genres and authors. Carefully selected books were wrapped, and only keywords related to their content were written on them. Participants chose their books based on these clues, without knowing the title or the author. The selected books were then loaned to the readers, and surprise gifts found inside some of them added extra excitement to the event. By looking beyond book covers, the activity inspired participants to evaluate literary works from a broader perspective.
