“Expressing My Emotions Through Art” Exhibition Opened at IELEV High School

Inspired by the tradition in Turkish literature of writing poems beneath paintings, an interdisciplinary project was carried out at IELEV High School. Within the scope of the project, which was brought to life through the collaboration of the Turkish Language and Literature and Visual Arts departments, 9th-grade students wrote poems inspired by photographs taken by members of the Photography Club.

At the end of this now-traditional project, the opening of an exhibition showcasing the students’ creative works was held on December 30. The exhibition, titled “Expressing My Emotions Through Art,” was presented to visitors on the first floor of IELEV High School.

Through this project, which brings together two different disciplines, the aim is to develop students’ artistic perspectives and creativity.
