Dutch Consulate

Our Photography Club students, together with İFSAK, attended an award-winning artists' talk and the opening of the "Iron People" exhibition at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Istanbul, featuring Dutch photojournalist, reporter, and filmmaker Jelle Krings as an expert speaker. 

The opening speeches were given by the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Consul General of Ukraine.

The exhibition depicts the war in Ukraine from the perspective of railway workers. The talk and exhibition, reminding us of the power of photography and storytelling, helped our students understand how effective photography is as a tool for raising awareness about events that shape the world.
