“Atatürk and Science” Themed Ankara Trip from IELEV High School

The Ankara trip themed “Atatürk and Science,” organized through the collaboration of the Social Sciences Department and the Physics Department of IELEV High School, offered students the opportunity to experience history and science together.

As part of the trip, students visited Anıtkabir, the 1st and 2nd Turkish Grand National Assembly buildings, the Ethnography Museum, Feza Gürsey Science Center, the MKEK Industry and Technology Museum, and Middle East Technical University. Through this program, students had the chance to observe firsthand the importance Mustafa Kemal Atatürk placed on science, modernization, and progress.

The educational and inspiring trip contributed to the development of students’ historical awareness as well as their scientific perspectives. Appreciation was expressed to the teachers who contributed to the organization and to the students who participated with great interest.
