An Experience in the Heart of Nature - The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Adventure
As part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Program, the Adventure and Exploration Journey for Bronze Category participants took place in Şile Ulupelit Village on October 23–24.
During this two-day, one-night event, our students had the opportunity to practice essential life skills such as navigation, setting up camp, completing long hiking routes, teamwork, and resilience, all in the heart of nature. Throughout this journey, they not only discovered nature but also explored their own limits and potential.
As IELEV High School, we take great pride in being part of this meaningful experience that supports our students’ character development, leadership, and self-confidence alongside their academic achievements.
