A Meaningful Run by İELEV Runners Club Students on Teachers’ Day
On Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 08:30 in the morning, students from the İELEV Runners Club of İELEV High School began their day with warm-up exercises and took part in the Teachers’ Day Run, held with a large turnout at Yeşilköy Marina and hosted by the Bakırköy Municipality. The event, which also saw great interest from teachers, featured 10K, 5K, and children’s races, with a total of 2,800 athletes participating.
The students added meaning to the event by running to honor the teachers who prepare them for a bright future. İELEV High School CAS Coordinators Alper Korkmaz (10K) and Berna Atlanç (5K) also joined the run to support their students.
İELEV Runners Club students expressed their pride and happiness in taking part in this special event that highlights the value of teachers in society and in running alongside their teachers.
