10 November Atatürk Commemoration Ceremony - “A Promise to Atatürk”
At our İELEV High School, our students expressed their longing, gratitude, and respect for our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with the theme “A Promise to Atatürk” during the 10 November Commemoration Ceremony.
The ceremony began with a speech by our School Principal, Ms. Selmin Köksel, emphasizing the significance and meaning of the day. A segment from the documentary Sarı Zeybek, which depicts Atatürk’s final days, was screened, and our school choir performed folk songs beloved by Atatürk.
The meaningful speech delivered by our Philosophy Teacher, Ms. Hasret Okurlu, followed by the “Teacher’s Oath,” the Zeybek & Modern Dance Performance, and the oratorio “Our Word is Our Promise,” added deeply emotional moments to the ceremony.
We commemorate our Great Leader once again with respect, love, and longing.
