Assessment and Evaluation in IELEV Schools

IELEV Schools use a variety of measurement and evaluation practices to form the basis for decisions to be taken at various stages of the educational process.

The student's responsibility to fulfill their duties, their participation in the class and their in-class work, their project work, their performance tasks and their efforts to learn are all taken as criteria in the assessment and evaluated with different assessment techniques.

The academic development of our students is analyzed according to the criteria in advanced education systems and their individual achievements are carefully evaluated. The methods, evaluation processes and applications used in our academic applications are carried out in integrity.

Believing that our students should take responsibility for their academic development,

  • To be able to create an area of responsibility they plan to plan in their time out of school, to have the ability to plan,
  • Duties and responsibilities are given to the students from the first grade in order to consolidate the lessons learned in the school process, to ensure the continuity and to transfer them to other disciplines.

IELEV In accordance with the principles of measurement and evaluation of schools, the studies prepared in accordance with the class levels and to monitor the academic development process of the students are as follows:

The achievements of our students are determined within the framework of the principles of measurement and evaluation principles of the Ministry of National Education Primary Education Institutions Grade Regulation Regulation and IELEV Schools.

Students' learning experiences, product file creation according to their grade level, development reports are shared with parents at the end of each semester. 1-4. The Grade Development Report is prepared in line with the corporate objectives and achievements and communicated to the parents on the date specified in the calendar of activities.

Our Progress Reports are formed by taking into account the experiences of the student during the learning process, the studies for determining the performance, how much they are in the curriculum and their participation in the course activities.

About IELEV Schools Measurement and Evaluation Unit

Goal;

The overall objective of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit is to contribute to the production of knowledge through practical analysis. The aim of this course is to be a unit that examines the educational problems of the students, develops solutions and contributes to the determination of policies in this direction, and presents the data it creates to the use of academic staff, students, parents and other stakeholders. The specific aim of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit is to ensure that all measurement and evaluation services implemented in IELEV Schools reach high standards. For this purpose, multi-dimensional assessment, as well as focusing on the process, structuring the information and giving the students the opportunity to demonstrate their high-level skills, giving importance to performance-based tasks related to real life rather than abstract tasks, adopting 21st century skills, using clear and distinct criteria, measuring and conducting studies to ensure that assessment activities are carried out, principles of providing effective and timely feedback are established in the school.

Mechanism;

In the IELEV Schools Measurement and Evaluation Unit measures and reports the level of readiness of the students at the beginning of the academic year. Prepares the exam calendars, examines the exam questions prepared in accordance with the evaluation of evaluation, organizes examinations and technical reading studies, analyzes the exam results, identifies learning deficiencies and leads to the possible causes and provides solutions. Measures the academic performance of the students in line with objective principles and makes suggestions for improvement. Manages the processes of creating, updating and printing the academic publications of the school, conducts editor, typesetting and graphic works. Prepares presentations in the field of measurement and evaluation, creates reports and gives seminars during in-service training periods.

Techniques;

It provides feedback as soon as possible about the other assessment and evaluation activities by means of the process evaluation method which aims to make the thinking and how the learning is realized and which methods are used or not to work. Anecdotes used in process evaluation guide teachers in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of methods such as discussion, exhibition, interview, observations, presentation, self-evaluation, product dossier, performance assignments, project, group and / or peer review. Short answer, multiple choice, matched or long answer questions, correct wrong, completion question, open-ended questions, concept mapping, structured grid, descriptive tree, poster, word provides guidance to teachers in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of methods such as association, drama, and question-answer method.
