Music education in IELEV
In the music education given in IELEV Schools, our students develop their ability to express themselves and increase their capacity of aesthetic, creative and constructive thinking. Our students take part in activities supporting the development of art, culture and aesthetics consciousness, and have the opportunity to interview with the valuable artists in our country.
In our kindergartens, music lessons are enriched with orff, creative drama, dance and rhythm techniques, and children's songs suitable for age level are taught.
Grade 1 students learn some of the basic knowledge of music, note, note values, rhythm and orff instruments.
Our students are prepared for choral and orchestral works by giving melodica training from the 2nd and 3rd grade.
In the 4th, 5th and 6th grades, each student is directed to one of piano, violin, guitar and rhythm branches according to their interests and branching work is carried out. Our students enjoy their musical performances by presenting their stage performances at the Music Night at the end of the year.
Our school choir represents our school every year by attending choral festivals and competitions held in different countries.
