EN Transfer Procedures - Incoming Student
IELEV Private High School will admit students to the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades in the 2023-2024 academic year.
The following conditions apply for admission:
For applications from Turkey or Istanbul:
- GPA.
- German and English transfer exam achievement.
- Application letter in German or English.
- Willingness to learn and work independently and on one's own responsibility with the understanding of an IB World School.
- Ability to actively participate in IB courses in German (Biology, Chemistry, World History, German) and English (Math, Physics, English).
For applications from Germany:
- High school, Gesamtschule (e-course level), or a secondary school certificate that can lead to upper secondary education.
- Willingness to learn and work independently and on one's own responsibility with the understanding of an IB World School.
- Ability to actively participate in IB courses in German (Biology, Chemistry, World History, German) and English (Math, Physics, English).
About IELEV Private High School:
IELEV Private High School, which was brought into education by the Istanbul Erkek Lisesi Education Foundation (IELEV) in 2014, is a German Abroad School and an IB World School.
Gemischtsprachiges Internationales Baccalaureat (GIB) Diploma Program is implemented in our school. With the GIB Diploma, it will be possible to directly transfer to universities in Germany and Austria, as in the Abitur Diploma.
The new school building of IELEV Private High School is located in Çekmeköy, in IELEV Private 125. Yıl Campus. It has modern equipment. Student shuttles provide transportation to the school from anywhere in Istanbul.
Almost all of our international teaching staff is multilingual. As in all other German Abroad Schools, the school is paid. Students have the opportunity to benefit from various defined scholarships.
